I had a great time
with my family in North Carolina
We had a short
week, but it was great!
In Math, we
continued working on story problems and started discussing even and odd numbers
to make pairs or teams.
In Social Studies,
we began our unit on maps and globes. We used a Venn diagram to compare the similarities
and differences between maps and globes.
In Writing, we began
writing our New Year’s Resolutions for 2013. The students came up with some
great goals and we will hang them above their lockers as a reminder and for
others to see.
Also, we worked on
Leader/Follower sentences. This will help the students with their homework
because it will be changing starting tomorrow. There is a special note for you
to read about the changes attached to their packet.
