Here's a peek at the short week!
In Math:
- Practiced place value with hundreds, tens, and ones
- Students solved addition problems with bar diagrams
- Students took our Topic 8 test
Please continue to work with you child on their math facts :)
In ELA:
- Used Animals in Danger to work on questioning using the 5 W's
- Practiced making words
- Played trick word relay
- Students took Unit 9 Fundations Test
In Writing and Social Studies:
- Students went to the computer lab to research more about North America and took notes in their research notebooks
- Discussed and practiced writing facts in their own words
- Worked with a partner to read and record facts
In Science:
- Learned about icy weather using Scholastic Magazine
