Happy June! We had
another great week together! It was fun to have all the special school spirit days!
In Math, we worked
on solving addition and subtraction using hundreds, tens, and ones. The
students learned to use sticker notation to help them add and subtract using
larger numbers. This visual really helps a lot! We completed Unit 8 and will
move on to Unit 5 about tables and patterns next week.
In Science, we learned
a lot of fun things about the sun, moon, and earth from Mr. Muscleman. He was
very impressed with how much the students knew already! We played Jeopardy to
prepare for the test we had on Wednesday too.

In Writing, we shared
our written pieces about another classmate we interviewed.
We also produced
some poem writing and gifts in preparation for Father’s Day on June 16th.

The Famous American Tea scripts are due
this Monday June 10th and the costumes on June 11th.
Please help your child prepare their script for this special event!
